Where are we heading?

There was a time when elders used to encourage young to read newspaper and to watch news & talks on TV. By this they thought young can expand their thought horizons and knowledge and get positively inspired. And this was true for that period (80s and 90s).

Now, by mistake also don't recommend children to read newspaper or watch TV. Almost all of media is filled with negative news and people. Very sorry to say India doesn't have a public figure whom youth can admire and follow as an ideal.  Ofcourse there are some but they are not in limelight. Only people who are in limelight are the corrupt bureaucrats, politicians, so called sages etc...

Few days back was listening to BBC Hindi radio news, which I admire a lot. There was a report regarding appointment of successor to Osama. It was followed by the discussion on how his successor will perform. Will he perform to the level of Osama or not? Why we need to know whether he will perform to the level of Osama or not... These are the evils in the world which need to be eliminated.
Just wanted to share thoughts on "where are we heading towards".
